Camilla Ornago obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of Milan (2018), where she continued her studies obtaining her Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnologies and Bioinformatics (2020). She performed her Master thesis project under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Ricagno, studying the structural characterization of the two isoforms of RidA protein in Salmo salar.
In November 2020, she joined the group of Prof. Wulf Blankenfeld at Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, where she started her PhD within the MepAnti ITN. As part of the consortium, she is studying the structural and biophysical characterization of IspE and IspF in complex with inhibitors.
