Patricia holds a BsC in Biochemistry (2017) at DLSU (Philippines) and a MSc in Drug Delivery (2020) under the Erasmus Mundus programme from the UParis, UAngers, UPatras, and UPavia. Her MSc project was involved on cell-based screening of a novel drug delivery system for cerebral ischemia. At present, she is a PhD candidate at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) / University of Basel in Switzerland at the Parasite Chemotherapy Unit headed by Prof. Pascal Mäser.
Within the MepANTI consortium, Patricia is responsible for the phenotypic screening of the MEP pathway inhibitors in Plasmodium falciparum. Eventually identifying which inhibitors will have the potential to be novel antimalarials.
