Victor studied Biomolecular Physics at the University of São Paulo where he obtained his Bachelor degree in (2018) and Masters’ degree in (2021). During his studies, he worked in the field of drug discovery and structural biology with different yellow fever virus and SARS-CoV 2 targets. In 2020, Victor did an internship at Collaborations Pharmaceuticals Inc. where he developed machine learning models for the discovery of new antivirals.
In 2021, he will start his PhD at University of Groningen with the supersivion of Prof. Dr. Matthew Groves. His research will focus on the structural and biophysical characterization of DXS, DXR and IspD for both P. falciparum, M.tuberculosis
